In this TT report only the records of Bosconians who have represented and played for India in international matches are being highlighted. Bosconian Carfew Roy went to Japan in 1987 for coaching cum invitational tournament. He also played for Indian railways in the World Railway Meet 1983 held at Switzerland and London. He also played the test match for India against Malaysia at Guwahati in 1984. Bosconians Arunjyoti Barua and Rahul Dutta went to Japan in 1984 for the invitational TT tournament, and both of them played for India in the Pentagular Championship at Pakistan. Presently Arunjyoti Plays for OIL while Rahul plays for the Western Railways.

Bosconian Anupam Konwar played for India in the Open Hungarian World Youth TT 1989 held at Budapest, Hungary. He secured the 5 th position. He defeated a player each from Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Russia and Kenya, besides defeating five players from Holland and three players from Spain. He finally lost to a Czechoslovakian in the quarter finals. Anupam secured the bronze in the IV th Junior Asian Cup TT championship 1989 held at New Delhi. Anupam won the 5 th position in the US Open TT 1990 held at Baltimore USA. Next Anupam played for Indian in the Junior International Table Tennis Championship held at Teheran, Iran, wherein the Indian team won the team championship honour. Anupam won the bronze in the individual singles event and gold in the doubles. Presently Anupam is playing for IOL. Bosconian Nipjyoti Barua played for India in the IV th Junior Asian Cup TT Championship 1989 held at New Delhi and the US Open TT 1990 held at Baltimore USA.

Bosconian Chiranjib Deka played for India in the Asian School Games (TT) 1995 at Macau, Hong Kong, China.

The SAI adopted the School in 1988 for imparting coaching through SAI TT Coach deputed to the School.

Agniban Dutta won Cadet Championship and Abhishek Tigga won Sub Jnr Championship in All Assam Ranking TT 2002, Dibrugarh; Agniban Dutta won Cadet Championship and Sourik Bhowmik won Sub Jnr Championship in All Assam Ranking TT 2002, Sibsagar; Sourik Bhowmik won Sub Jnr Championship in All Assam Ranking TT 2002, Guwahati. In the 64 th National Sub Jnr TT Championship 2002, Sirsa Abhishek Tigga, Agniban Dutta and Sourik Bhowmik represented the State Sub Jnr TT and reached the Qr Finals.

More recently, the Don Bosco Team represented by Orijeet Borah, Kaushik Phukan, Akash Baruah, Indranil Dutta Roy and S.P.Singh were runners up in the SAI Inter Regional TT Championship held on 4 th and 5 th January 2006 in Siliguri, U-19 NER SAI Sub-center.
