Mr R.P.Barooah Teacher I/C and coach for cricket since sixties was instrumental in shaping the destinies of Bosconians who have attained laudable standards in the Zonals, Nationals and also had the honour of playing for the country.

In 2005 the Don Bosco Cricket Team became the champions in DN Gohain U-14 Inter School Cricket Championship, Golap Hazarika U-14 Cricket Championship and Golap Hazarika Inter Coaching U-14 Cricket Championship (recognized by Assam Cricket Association).
