Since the commencement of the new millennium the school has initiated a series of steps to refound Don Bosco to keep it abreast of the times. As a first step the primary school curriculum and teaching methods were revamped. The teachers of the primary school underwent several workshops to familiarize them with child centered and activity oriented teaching methods. The unit tests and examinations gave way to worksheets and continuous evaluations. In order to reduce the load of the school bags, textbooks and exercise books were abolished. Today the teachers use work cards and worksheets.

Further the school sought and obtained affiliation under the central Board of Secondary Education. Since 2006 the school is affiliated to the CBSE board. The first batch of students is scheduled to appear for the Central Board examinations in 2009. Currently the school is in the process of getting affiliation as a Senior Secondary School.

The school has created infrastructure and that would enable it to use digitalised i-learning solutions in the classrooms. The teachers have also been trained to use multimedia teaching aids. The school has created a resource centre in view of providing the campus with WiFi. The school administration software “Campuscare” will automate the school offices, Library and school administration.
